Artists of all ages are welcome to submit artwork inspired by the beloved official bird of the City and County of Honolulu--the White Tern or Manu o Kū! |
Submission Guidelines
Artwork must feature manu o Kū.
Eligibility: Hawai'i residents.
All media welcome (2D, 3D, photography, etc.), however, AI work will not be accepted.
Artists may submit up to 2 artworks for consideration.

Submission deadline: January 10, 2026
Artist notification: January 12, 2026
Pick-up of work: Date and time TBA.

- At this time, artists will need to complete a liability waiver.
Pick-up of work: Date and time TBA.
- Optional: Artist may donate artwork toward manu o Kū conservation.
