The White Tern breeding season on Oahu continues at a brisk pace and there are still a lot of eggs and chicks in trees scattered across the greater Honolulu area. And there are again several that offer great viewing opportunities in the heart of Waikiki. Join us on Saturday, April 21, as we visit a few of the nesting spots along Kalakaua Avenue. We’ll meet at 10:00 under the Shower tree on Kalakaua Avenue circled in red in the attached photo, just beyond the intersection (towards Diamond Head) with Monsarrat Ave. The walk will end at the International Marketplace at about 11:30. Please RSVP by texting 808-379-7555 or by emailing [email protected].
